What counts as a like-for-like replacement taxi?
A licensed vehicle of the same class as the one off the road: a black cab for a black cab, an estate for an estate, a minibus for a minibus, plated and metered so it can legally carry fare-paying passengers. A standard courtesy car is not like-for-like: without a plate and meter it cannot work.

Hybrid Saloon
The older-shape Prius: the one drivers actually want, for the rear head room, and usually the fastest replacement we can get on the road.
